====== Pilot Study ======

The focus of the project "Compilation of a Corpus of 19th-Century English Grammars" was the compilation of a corpus of 19th-century British grammars and the XML annotation and online publication of the corpus texts in order to make the grammars accessible to the linguistic community. Completed corpus texts, self-authored tools for corpus and network analysis, and the documentation of the project is made available on this website.\\

First results have been presented at the [[conferences:icehl19|International Conference on English Historical Linguistics (ICEHL 19)]] and at the [[conferences:gac2016|Grammar and Corpora Conference 2016 (GaC 2016)]].

This project has been funded by [[https://www.uni-heidelberg.de/research/profile/field_of_focus_3/research/2014_mantlik.html|Field of Focus 3]] within the Excellence Initiative until December 2015.
